About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Shurtleff and I am a third grade teacher at Clarkesville Elementary.  Teaching is my passion and I love to see personal growth and progress in each student.  I look forward to teaching third grade every year and all the exploring, learning, and fun we will get to have. Relationships with students mean the world to me and watching them grow into responsible adults ready to make our world a better place is what I desire most.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College and my Master’s degree from Piedmont College.  I also earned my gifted endorsement with my Master’s.
