About the teacher

My name is Alicia Strong and I graduated from Piedmont College in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I started teaching Pre-K as an assistant teacher in 2004 and got my first lead teacher position the following year. I've taught Pre-K for 19 years in private schools, head start, and now Clarkesville Elementary. I live in Mount Airy with my two beautiful daughters. My oldest is a senior at the high school and shows cows for FFA. My baby is in her last year of elementary school and she loves to participate in cheer. We love to travel together and be anywhere near the water.
